About Yogapulse

Yogapulse classes are for all levels and encourage a non-competitive environment where you work at your own level to challenge yourself in a positive way.

Variations for all levels are given so that beginners feel welcome and those with more experience can continue to deepen their practice


Yogapulse classes connect breath and movement, mind and body thus uniting the mental and physical selves. Your body becomes stronger, you become more able at releasing stress and tension, the mind becomes clearer and more focused.


Yogapulse is a dynamic and energetic practice performed in a sequential (flowing) order, synchronising movement with the breath (Vinyasa or Flow Yoga).  Yogapulse is upbeat, fun and challenging; will make you sweat, smile and get stronger. Music is used to complement and elevate the energy of the class, so let your body turn soft, let your body flow fluidly and allow your body to become light!

 

Vinyasa Yoga

Combining traditional asana (poses) in a vinyasa flow (breath-synchronized movement), Vinyasa Yoga strengthens the core body, builds flexibility and stamina, and brings about mental and physical wellbeing.

A unique flow, set to a variety of music, is created each week based on the needs of the students in attendance, to cultivate their unique strength, fluidity and creativity.

There is always an emphasis on alignment and proper breathing techniques as the foundation of the practice, and mindfulness meditation/relaxation.

Vinyasa yoga is suitable for all levels.

 

Core Body Yoga

This class is designed for you to get your practice in during your lunchhour so that you may go home in the evening knowing that you have done your routine for the day!

Combining traditional poses in a flowing sequence, Core Vinyasa Yoga strengthens the core body by accessing the deepest part of your core. It unlocks the power of your centre, penetrating weak muscle tissue and awakening sluggish organs. It strengthens the limbs and leaves you feeling energised for the rest of the day.


Core Vinyasa Yoga will enhance your yoga practice, and is for all levels.

 

Private Tuition

Regardless of level, age or stage of life, private lessons provide the perfect setting to address your individual goals and needs.


Private lessons are a great way to introduce yourself to yoga. Working in a focused way specific to your requirements and concerns. For example: work on general strength and flexibility; painful or tense areas; relaxation, with or without the use of yoga props.


Different classes will have a different emphasis – some being more physical, some focusing more on relaxation, breath work and meditation, depending on the students requirements, specifications and/or whether the student has a medical condition.
